DELIVERY TIMES & DATES:
Orders typically ship from our San Francisco 1 - 2 business day after the order is received, and you will notified upon shipment from our store. Shipping days begin the day after we release the package to UPS, not the day it is picked up. For example a 2-Day Air package shipped from San Francisco on Tuesday will be scheduled to arrive at your location on Thursday.
Due to the perishable nature of our products we ship perishable products on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only. Cheese of the Month Club Shipments always ship the 2nd Tuesday of each month. All perishable products are shipped via 2-Day Air or Next Day shipping as determined by the delivery address*. We reserve the right to restrict deliveries to certain warm weather addresses. *California, Oregon, Utah, and Arizona residents can enjoy 2 day shipping via our Perishable UPS Ground Shipping option. Shipping charges are determined by the weight of the item and the destination.
DELIVERY & GIFT SHIPMENTS:
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address and phone number are accurate, and the recipient will be home on the day of delivery. If in doubt, consider shipping to the recipient's place of business or calling the gift recipient in advance. The buyer shall assume responsibility for the costs associated with any reshipping.
We recommend alerting your gift recipients in advance the delivery date a perishable package will be delivered. UPS does not require a signature at residential addresses and they will leave the package if no one is at home and the courier feels it is safe to do so. Please use caution when shipping to an apartment building. When a doorperson isn't available to receive a package, UPS may not leave the package and delivery will be delayed by at least one day. Please note - Our perishable shipments are packaged for maximum freshness and we recommend all perishable items be refrigerated upon delivery. Please note - The buyer will be charged for any replacement orders if delivery was attempted and the recipient was unable to accept the package.
We only ship to verified street addresses, and cannot ship any products to Canada or other foreign countries. We cannot ship to APO, FPO or POB addresses. Shipments to Hawaii or Alaska may require overnight shipping. Address corrections made after packages have left our shop will result in extra charges to the buyer - $15 for the correction, plus any additional transportation costs. Address corrections will also add at least one day to the delivery and may result in compromised perishable products. Please note - The buyer will be charged for any replacement orders and delivery costs if delivery was attempted and the recipient was unable to accept the package.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER:
The buyer will be emailed the tracking number of each package once sent. Please note - Tracking updates may take 24 hours to occur on the UPS site.
Returns accepted for non-food items only. Items may be returned within 7 days of delivery. All items must be returned in original packaging in new, unused, and damage-free condition with the original receipt. Buyer pays all return shipping costs. All returns subject to 10% re-stocking fee.
Cancellation of Cheese of the Month Club prepaid shipments will result in a 20% cancellation fee. Unused shipping costs for early cancellation of Cheese of the Month Club subscriptions will be returned.
