How do we choose the cheeses?
We start by putting together 3 of the finest traditional and authentic cheeses from around the globe, including at least 1 American artisan cheese. You’ll receive approximately 1 full pound of cheese each month, enough to share with family and friends. We carefully scrutinize our cheese selections to be seasonally “correct”, so they may be enjoyed with the foods and climates of the year. Each cheese will be cut fresh from the wheel just for you. Rest assured you will receive true artisan cheese— not pre-packaged, industrially produced cheese so readily available at your local supermarket.
How do we ship our cheese?
After each cheese is cut fresh from the wheel just for you, it’s hand wrapped in our special cheese-friendly paper allowing your order to be delivered counter fresh direct to your door. Our insulated shipping boxes will keep your cheese cool while in transit. You’ll receive tasting and serving notes for your order along with a personalized message from our staff of expert cheese specialists. Your order will ship out of San Francisco nestled in soft straw on the second Tuesday of each month via UPS to maintain a calm cool trip to your door. Shipping policy. How can you send cheese of the month as a gift?
If you’d like to send Cheese of the Month as a gift, make sure you check the box
That says, “This is a gift” when you’re ordering. Although you’ll provide us with the recipient’s address, we will mail a “Welcome Letter” to them before their subscription begins.
